What is Lymphedema? It is a chronic and currently incurable condition, with a tendency towards progression, that creates swelling of the limbs and body due to the accumulation of lymph fluid. If left untreated, it can become disabling. IT can occur from birth ( Primary) or following certain cancer surgeries or radio therapy treatments ( Secondary). On occasion, infection or burns can also lead to this condition.

Treatment: as part of the treatment, graduated compression garments are fitted in a custom manner. They are worn during the day to keep the swelling own, improve circulation, and prevent re accumulation of the lymph fluid in the area.
