Celine Cantin, OT, CHT , owner and operator and her receptionist Marilyn welcome you. Marilyn Brisson has returned to cover Erica's maternity leave as our receptionist.
Danielle Balik , PT, has joined the Squamish clinic to offer our private paying clientele to have access to physiotherapy services for their upper extremity condition. As third party payers often do not cover Occupational Therapy (OT) services, it gives a clientele to be seen by a Certified Hand Therapist who is also a physio and the latter is more commonly reimbursed service.
Celine has been mentoring Danielle to help prepare for her Certified Hand Therapy qualification exam: I am thrilled to announce that Danielle is now a CHT, having passed the challenging exam by the Hand Therapy Commission this past May 2017 (HTCC.org for details).
Celine has been in business since December 2012 in Squamish, since 2007 in Surrey.
We provide specialized hand therapy to people of all ages who have experienced a hand injury at home or at work or loss of function through disease.
Our clientele tend to get hurt at work, during sports or leisure activities, motor vehicle accidents or lose upper extremity function through disease.
Our mission is to provide best practice care and ensure that our clientele experience individual cost efficient recovery within a supportive environment.
Our team consists of Occupational and Physical Therapists. The hand therapists are active members of the West Coast Hand Therapy Association and frequently attend continuing education courses, often with hand surgeons and specialists, to ensure that their knowledge and certification is to date and to maintain good relationships with our referring physicians.

New REceptionist: Liz Vance
We would like to welcome and introduce our new Alpine Hand Clinic receptionist, Liz. Liz is newly transplanted from Campbell River which passions include snowboarding and dragon boating. When asked what brought her here, she replied "I needed mountains for snow and water to dragon boat and Squamish offered the best of both worlds for me." She also is the proud mother of 2 beautiful children. Liz completed the Hospital Unit Clerk program at North Island College in 2015. She not only brings her medical clerk knowledge and experience, but also her positive attitude and cheery disposition.
